The Role


Aura is looking for a Lead Program Manager to manage a portfolio of projects.to deliver new products and services. As a leader on the team, this individual will leverage their broad experience to solve problems and implement new planning and operational efficiencies to ensure the product and engineering teams are set up to deliver successfully. This will require the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external vendors.


The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio and program management leadership track record, and will draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage portfolio planning and operations. It is essential that the individual be able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player. The individual must have deep experience in managing a constantly evolving organization and helping that organization work smarter as they scale for growth.


  • Work with the cross functional product core team on establishing requirements and understanding scope.
  • Work with the teams to set milestones, create integration plans and actively manage issues/risks of the programs.
  • Ensure cross functional alignment across Software, Product Management, Marketing and Data teams
  • Analyze the technology integration and understand the dependencies and manage execution.
  • Communicate program status, risks and mitigation plans to executives.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review.
  • Identify resources needed and work closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of multiple projects, ensuring resource gaps are addressed efficiently.
  • Build scalable solutions that will support a growing technology platform.


  • 10+ years of solid experience in portfolio and program management within a fast-moving technology driven organization
  • Technology background, preferably direct software development experience
  • Ability to think end-to-end, lead long-term programs, and manage multiple programs simultaneously across numerous organizations
  • Background in process design and optimization
  • Past experience running Agile sprints 
  • Background leading large scale change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
  • Experience leading a team of  dynamic project managers will be a strong plus
  • Experience growing an organization and attracting, hiring and maintaining top talent and developing and coaching team members
  • Experience working within a high-growth, SaaS technology company
  • Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly
